Destiny of a Believer Trial by Trial

After a trial lasting more than 15 hours, the entire courtroom became silent. Everyone present anxiously awaited for the final verdict, but none more so than the three accused men, who stood silently before the judge. Don Stephens - American, Alan Williams - a British subject and Costas Macris - a Greek. Their crime, if convicted - leading a young Greek man to Christ and giving him a New Testament translated in modern Greek.
As they waited for the verdict they felt optimistic. After all, this was Greece, the birthplace of democracy and the cradle of Christianity. The only thing that could possibly stand in their way was and archaic law passed over 46 years ago by a fascist dictator. And the possibility of a guilty verdict based on it was very remote. Yet that is precisely what happened. All three were found guilty and sentenced to three and one-half years imprisonment.
